CFMOTO 675 SR-R 2026 Test: Ergonomics and Riding Comfort
Rider
The ergonomics of the CFMOTO 675 SR-R 2026 have been studied to balance a sporty character with acceptable riding comfort, making it suitable for both track and road use. The riding position is clearly attack-oriented, with low-slung clip-ons positioned below the upper triple clamp and moderately rearset and raised footpegs, which favor front-end loading and good riding feedback. Despite the sporty setup, the company seems to have worked on the seat, which appears well-shaped and with an adequate foam density to offer sufficient comfort even on medium-distance trips. The seat height, set at 810 mm, has been optimized to allow a secure footing on the ground for most riders, while maintaining adequate ground clearance for the boldest lean angles; overall, even those who are 170 cm tall can place their feet firmly on the ground.
Aerodynamic Protection
The front fairing designed by Modena 40 offers a tapered front section. At highway speed limits, the deflection of the airflow effectively protects the rider's torso, shedding the main vortices onto the upper part of the helmet and shoulders, unless one adopts a completely tucked position behind the plexiglass.
Vibrations
The vibrations of the three-cylinder engine, by its very nature already balanced thanks to the firing order of the crankpins and the adoption of a smoothing countershaft, are truly minimal. The phenomenon is felt in a minimal form only near the redline of the tachometer, making the ride less fatiguing even at high revs.
Heat
The placement of the low 3-in-1 exhaust favors mass centralization and reduces the heat perceived in the tail area. During low-speed use or in traffic jams, the thermal flow coming from the radiator laps the inner calf area, but the general heat dissipation at speed is efficient and well-channeled.
Passenger
The passenger is positioned high up, but with a decent portion of the seat available. They remain sacrificed as on all hypersport bikes due to the absence of structural handholds and the high footpegs, but among these, it is the one where they are best accommodated, thanks to a seating surface that is slightly less tapered compared to purely racing standards. The general comfort aligns with the expectations of a street supersport.
