A second analytical school of thought focuses heavily on the liquid-cooled Revolution Max family, equipped with dual overhead cams and variable valve timing. With industrial timelines pointing toward the "Back to the Bricks" business plan—which brings back traditional air-cooled Sportster powerplants—the current liquid-cooled Sportster S might require an identity and name repositioning.
