SYM ADX TG 400 2025 Test Build Quality

The SYM ADX TG 400 2025 scooter is well made, with high build quality and attention to detail.

Nothing is missing that is really necessary, such as the various storage compartments, the keyless entry, the complete instrumentation, the USB socket and other details.

The off-road image is not missing.

The paint job is more than good.

Nothing to report, therefore, an excellent scooter, complete and of excellent overall quality compared to the list price.

 

SYM ADX TG 400 2025 Test Ergonomics and riding comfort

The ride comfort, both alone and in pairs, is more than good.

The habitability for two people is good, with good space for both.

The rider's position is excellent overall, the passenger's position is just a little more demanding, but overall we are at a very high level.

The aerodynamic protection is excellent up to maximum speed.

Easy-to-reach controls, comprehensive and easily readable instrumentation.

Some directions may be larger in size.

The saddle is very comfortable, but not too low to the ground, which also requires a certain amount of attention when manoeuvring when stationary due to the overall weight.

The rear shock absorbers are well calibrated.

The vibrations are barely noticeable, but not annoying.

The various compartments are practical, the under-seat compartment is spacious.

Overall the ride comfort and practicality are more than good, an excellent product.

The fork has a good soft, not soft, calibration, ensuring good stability at speed and good comfort on rough surfaces.

Well-suited for the type of scooter that can also be used off-road.

The rear shock absorbers have an identical or almost identical calibration, just a little stiffer, also thanks to the inertia of the engine unit, but overall they are well matched to the fork.

The engine of the SYM ADX TG 400 2025 is a new one, with a real displacement of approximately 399cc it fears no comparison with other similar single-cylinder engines for maximum performance and riding pleasure.

It turns on and heats up easily, with silent mechanics.

Perfect in terms of performance, in city use, it also proves to be valid in extra-urban transfers, where its cruising speed is very valid and competitive.

It travels easily at 110 km/h with a good power reserve for easy overtaking.

On guided tours with speeds between 60 and 110 km/h it is very effective and fun.

You only run into trouble when the speed exceeds 130 km/h.

The maximum speed we reached was around 150 km/h indicated on the speedometer, but in favourable conditions it was possible to even exceed this figure, reaching almost 160 km/h.

Excellent performance for this type of scooter.

In reality, 130 km/h can easily be reached.

Even in this case its performance is competitive against the main and most accredited competitors.

It should be noted that stability at high speeds is excellent.

The transmission and variator work perfectly, with a fairly sporty character between deceleration and full throttle opening.

With a minimum of experience you can manage everything very easily and you will appreciate the acceleration characteristics of the

Like other off-road scooters, in reality, the scooter's actual off-road capabilities are limited to dirt roads and little else, but always extremely easy.

Then you could dare even more, but it's not the right way and you do more harm than good.

However, you can venture onto dirt roads, streets and paths with great satisfaction.

It's not an enduro

bike , but it allows you to reach places that you couldn't reach with a normal scooter.

In our test we had an average consumption of around 24 km/l, with peaks of over 26 km/l and a minimum of 20 km/l.

The 28 km/l are reached with difficulty.

Overall, fuel consumption is in line with that of competitors and is in fact similar to the previous 300cc model.

The SYM ADX TG 400 2025 scooter has proven to be very valid, with an undoubted personality and fully achieves its objectives.

Practical to use in the city, it is also fun on trips outside the city.

Off-roading is limited to a few dirt roads or easy dirt tracks.

It is very complete for the city, but it also allows for effective use on extra-urban routes, in pairs and for long-range tourism.

Good braking and overall quality.

A valid product, really well made and not afraid of comparisons with the competitors.

The price is very competitive and the overall quality-price ratio is excellent.
