2026 TRIUMPH STREET TRIPLE 765 RX: Öhlins Suspension Setup Guide
The RX’s Öhlins package offers micrometric adjustment. Here is a baseline configuration for different uses:
1. Road Setup (Comfort/Sport)
Front (Preload): 6-8 turns from fully open. Compression: 12 clicks from fully closed. Rebound: 12 clicks from fully closed.
Rear (Preload): Standard (10-12mm static sag). Compression: 15 clicks from fully closed. Rebound: 14 clicks from fully closed.
2. Track Setup (Track Day)
Front: Increase preload (4-5 turns) to support heavy braking. Close compression to 5-7 clicks. Rebound at 8 clicks.
Rear: Close hydraulic compression to 8-10 clicks to stabilize the rear under hard acceleration.
Technical Note: The RX has a 2mm shorter wheelbase than the RS; an overly stiff rear setup can cause nervousness on corner exit. Always adjust in 2-click increments.
