Handling, Stability, and Safety

Despite its 323 kg (dry) weight, the bike is surprisingly agile once in motion.

    In the City: The mass is noticeable during parking maneuvers, but the low center of gravity helps once moving. The slim saddlebags make filtering through traffic easier. It remains a bike for experienced riders, but relative to its size, it is intuitive.

    Country Roads: This is its natural habitat. Stability in fast sweepers is excellent. It steers with thought, leaning in a neutral and predictable manner. It is surprisingly quick in direction changes.

    Highway: An excellent mile-muncher. Standard cruise control reduces fatigue. At 130 km/h (80 mph), comfort and safety are benchmark-level; you can cover hundreds of miles without feeling tired.

    Mountain Passes: Surprising agility despite the long wheelbase. Ground clearance (31.3° lean angle) is above average for a cruiser, but the pegs will touch down early during spirited riding. Nevertheless, the engine allows for a very fast pace.
