Expert advice: The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera 2026 is an ideal platform for users looking for a second bike to use during track days on tight circuits (go-kart tracks) or for sporty riding on mountain passes. For those intending to use it in the city, it is recommended to set the engine brake (EBC) to intermediate levels to avoid overly abrupt throttle-off responses on cobblestones or manhole covers. Should you decide to install the racing accessory kit, it is crucial to remember that the bike loses its street homologation: keeping the stock Termignoni silencers is advised in order to restore the vehicle for inspections or resale.
