TRIUMPH SPEED TWIN 1200 RS 2026 Review:
The suspension department is what truly transforms the Speed Twin into an "RS." The Marzocchi front forks and twin Öhlins rear shocks with piggyback reservoirs are fully adjustable. The factory setup is firm, ideal for smooth asphalt and aggressive riding where the bike resists excessive pitching under braking. Despite the increased stiffness, the hydraulic quality absorbs small imperfections well, though the rear can feel sharp over deep potholes.
Technical Tip: For use on uneven roads, it is advisable to reduce the rear rebound damping by 2-3 clicks to prevent overly harsh spring response. If you weigh less than 70 kg, decrease the Öhlins preload by one notch to improve road compliance.
