YAMAHA TÉNÉRÉ 700 WORLD RAID 2026 Review: Electronics
The 2026 evolution introduces more refined electronic management while maintaining the "analog" philosophy of the Ténéré range.
Riding Modes (YCC-T Ride-by-Wire)
Explorer Mode: Standard configuration with linear power delivery. Ideal for touring and maximizing road traction.
Rally Mode: Features extremely ready and direct throttle response. Reduces butterfly valve lag, facilitating front-end lift to clear obstacles off-road.
ABS Multi-Mode System
Mode 1 (Full On): Active on both wheels.
Mode 2 (Rear Off): Active only on the front. Recommended for light off-road.
Mode 3 (Full Off): Total deactivation. Note: The system resets to Full On every time the ignition is cycled for safety regulations.
Traction Control (TCS)
The TCS does not use a 6-axis IMU but relies on wheel speed sensors. It must be deactivated for riding in sand or deep mud to allow the tire to dig for traction.
