CFMOTO 1000 MT-X 2026 Review: Ergonomics and Ride Comfort
Rider: The seat-footpeg-handlebar triangulation is dedicated to long-range touring. The seat is comfortable, allowing you to empty the tank without excessive fatigue. The handlebar is mounted slightly high—a choice that favors standing off-road but makes the road-going posture slightly passive.
Wind Protection: The windscreen is height-adjustable, but the protection offered could be improved for European-sized riders (over 175 cm tall). Turbulence is noticeable on the top of the helmet at highway speeds.
Vibrations: Well-damped at medium revs; some tingling is felt only near the tachometer’s red line.
Heat: Engine heat is managed well while moving; a flow of warm air is felt on the legs only in heavy urban traffic.
Passenger: Space is generous, with wide handles and footpegs positioned at a correct height that does not strain the knees.
