Chassis and Riding Dynamics
Unlike the R 18, the R20 shortens the wheelbase by approximately 180 mm, approaching the geometric proportions of a street naked, albeit with the intrinsic inertia of a powerplant weighing over 110 kg.
Suspension: The setup is a benchmark. An upside-down Öhlins Blackline fully adjustable fork operates at the front, while the rear is managed by a monoshock from the same series coupled with a double-sided Paralever swingarm and an exposed driveshaft.
Brakes and Wheels: The transition from Swedish ISR prototypes to 6-piston Brembo monobloc calipers for production indicates the search for more modular yet extreme braking power. The 17-inch tires (120/70 front and 200/55 rear) confirm the intention to offer a lean-in speed superior to any cruiser.
