Materials and Structure Analysis
The construction of the Namib 2026 is an exercise in applied textile engineering. The main structure utilizes a two-way stretch fabric with high abrasion resistance, coupled with large areas of ventilated mesh.
Palm: Made of synthetic suede, a material chosen for its superior mechanical resistance to rubbing compared to traditional sheepskin of equal thickness. The surface is enriched with silicone inserts on the fingertips to optimize grip on the brake and clutch levers—a fundamental critical factor in technical stand-up riding on the pegs.
Finger Construction: The fingers are pre-curved with external stitching at the ends, a clinical solution that eliminates internal pressure points, improving comfort during long riding sessions.
