PIAGGIO LIBERTY 125 S 2026 Test Scheduled maintenance guide
Routine maintenance of the Liberty 125 S is fundamental to preserve the reliability of the 3-valve i-get engine. Workshop intervals are scheduled as follows:
At 1,000 km (Break-in service): Change the engine oil (capacity: 850 cc of SAE 5W-40 synthetic lubricant) and its cartridge filter; change the rear hub oil (approx. 100 cc SAE 80W-90); check chassis fastener torque.
Every 5,000 km: Verify engine oil level via the dipstick; verify front pad thickness and rear drum play.
Every 10,000 km: Replace engine oil and filter; replace the foam air filter; clean variator rollers and check drive belt wear status.
Every 20,000 km: Replace the transmission drive belt and variator sliders; replace the spark plug (NGK CR8EB); check and adjust valve clearance (Intake: 0.10 mm; Exhaust: 0.15 mm with a cold engine).
