Editorial: The New Face of the Superbike
2026 is the year of the breakthrough. ZXMoto, bolstered by the international success achieved in the World Supersport championship with Valentin Debise, is ready to shake up the superbike segment. The new 2027 ZXMoto 1000RR is no longer just a promise, but a technical reality that aims to democratize track performance without sacrificing premium components. With over 200 horsepower and top-tier chassis equipment, the challenge to the European and Japanese giants is officially on.
Technical Analysis: SBK Performance
The ZXMoto 1000RR is built around a beating heart that makes no compromises.
Engine: A 999.8cc inline-four capable of delivering 151.5 kW (206 HP). Thanks to the adoption of high-grade materials in moving parts and optimized fluid dynamics, the theoretical top speed is estimated at over 300 km/h, placing it in the elite club of hypersport bikes capable of breaking the 300 km/h barrier.
Aerodynamics: The fairing was developed in a wind tunnel with a design that integrates aerodynamic wings (winglets) to increase front-end load at high speeds, drastically improving corner-entry stability and reducing wheelies.
Chassis and Suspensions: The aluminum twin-spar frame is paired with a multi-adjustable fork and a racing-derived mono-shock, ready to manage the curb weight of just 203 kg.
Braking: Safety is entrusted to a top-of-the-line Brembo braking system, with monobloc radial calipers working on high-heat-dissipation floating discs.
Electronics: The "Brain" of the 1000RR
ZXMoto has closed the technological gap with its competitors:
6-axis IMU Inertial Platform: Constant management of every dynamic aspect of the bike.
Cornering ABS and Traction Control: Adjustable on multiple levels to adapt to both street use and extreme track use.
Ride-by-Wire: Customizable engine maps to modulate the 206 HP delivery based on the track.
Price, Availability, and EICMA 2026
The question everyone is asking is: how much will it cost in Europe? While the price in China is around €12,500, in Europe—accounting for Euro5+ homologation costs, logistics, import taxes, and the service network—the final price is estimated in a range between €16,900 and €18,500. This remains an extremely competitive positioning when compared to top-of-the-line models that exceed €25,000.
Official Presentation: The global debut will take place at EICMA 2026, where the 1000RR will be the undisputed star of the ZXMoto booth.
European Availability: Arrival at dealerships is expected in the first half of 2027.
