Morbidelli T125WR 2027: Chinese Patents Reveal the New Dual-Sport Enduro for A1 License Holders

The rebirth of the historic Pesaro-based brand Morbidelli—orchestrated by the Chinese industrial giant Qianjiang (QJMotor) through its subsidiary Keeway Group—is adding a brand-new technical piece to its lineup. Recent design patent applications filed in China, originally identified by CycleWorld magazine, have revealed the lines and chassis layout of the Morbidelli T125WR. This provisional moniker will highly likely identify the vehicle for the Model Year 2027 segment. This model marks a clean engineering break from the 125cc range currently available on the market, steering the brand toward the specialized road-legal dual-sport and enduro segment.

Unlike the brand's current entry-level models (such as the T125 dual-sport, the F 125 street bike, or the T125X crossover), which share a standardized platform built around a conventional semi-double cradle frame, the T125WR introduces a perimeter chassis architecture and a brand-new engine. While the vehicle retains passenger footpegs, LED headlights, and a license plate holder for Euro 5+ road-legal homologation, it showcases a clear dedication to technical off-road riding.
