The chassis confirms the mixed structural layout (steel trellis and aluminum plates) of the Brutale 1000 series, integrating reference components of the sector.
Öhlins Smart EC Suspension
The suspension compartment is entirely managed by Öhlins semi-active electronic hydraulically controlled electronics:
- Front end: Öhlins NIX EC upside-down fork with Titanium Nitride (TiN) surface treatment to reduce stiction.
- Rear end: Öhlins TTX EC progressive monoshock.
- Steering: Öhlins EC steering damper, configurable both in fixed manual damping mode and automatic adaptive mode based on data from the inertial platform.
The system intervenes in real time on the compression and rebound valves to stabilize the setup during load transfers (braking and acceleration).
