BETA ENDURO RACE RR 300 2T 2026 Test Engine performance top speed
Top speed
The real top speed recorded via GPS tracking is 124 km/h, achieved using the stock final gearing ratio (13/50). This figure is purely indicative, given the vehicle's intended operating environment.
Acceleration
The engine delivers linear progression from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4.8 seconds. The opening of the electronically controlled exhaust valve guarantees continuity during the transition between low and mid-range engine speeds, eliminating the classic violent hit typical of older-generation two-stroke powerplants.
Engine smoothness and on-off effect
The Keihin PWK 36 carburetor fuel system ensures stable carburetion, although it remains sensitive to rapid altitude changes. The throttle hesitation phenomenon (on-off effect) is absent: the connection between the throttle grip and the rear wheel is direct and predictable.
Heat
The coolant fluid temperature is stably maintained between 75°C and 85°C. The absence of a stock cooling fan on the Racing version represents a shortcoming in slow, trial-like sections where engine temperatures can hit 100°C, necessitating the installation of the aftermarket accessory from the Factory catalog.
Sixth-gear recovery from idle
When dropping the engine speed down to approximately 1,500 rpm in sixth gear, the engine recovers without sputtering or knocking, provided throttle opening is modulated to avoid temporarily flooding the combustion chamber.
General performance
The maximum estimated power at the crankshaft stands around 51 hp. Power delivery privileges low-end torque, rendering clutch abuse far less frequent compared to powerplants of smaller displacement.
