Maintaining a specialized two-stroke competition engine requires strict adherence to intervals measured in operating hours:
Every 5 hours: Clean and re-oil the air filter; inspect drive chain tension.
Every 15 hours: Replace transmission gearbox oil (capacity: 800 cc of specific SAE 10W-40 or 75W-90 lubricant).
Every 30 hours: Inspect steering head bearings and rear linkage play; check brake pad wear status.
Every 60 hours: Replace the piston (standard cylinder-to-piston clearance tolerance: 0.06 mm); replace the carbon reeds of the V-Force 4 intake block.
Every 120 hours: Replace the main crankshaft bearings and crankcase oil seals.
