5. Commercial Analysis and Pricing
Ducati has opened the order books without releasing the official price list, which will be disclosed on June 9. Based on the cost structure of the Desmo450 MX, a reliable economic projection can be established:
Model Intended Use Estimated / Actual List Price (Euro)
Ducati Desmo450 MX Motocross (Available) € 12,990 (Actual)
Ducati Desmo450 EDS Street-Legal Enduro (New) € 13,200 - € 13.800 (Projected)
Commercial note: The addition of road-legal components (split wiring harness, LED headlights, license plate holder, and catalytic converter) typically incurs a premium of approximately 500 to 800 Euros over the ready-to-race competition variant.
