Build Quality
The Z1100 adopts an industrial strategy based on the reuse of proven components: the external design echoes the lines of the previous Z1000R, while the engine and part of the chassis are derived from the Ninja 1100 SX. Overall build quality is high, with millimeter-perfect bodywork fitment and robust finishes. The Z900 maintains a more essential approach, characterized by a steel trellis frame compared to the aluminum twin-spar frame of its larger sibling. A critical note on the Z1100 concerns the integration of the USB port, which appears as an afterthought attached to the handlebar.
