Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
Regularity and On-Off: The 890 V2 is fluid, but the "Ride-by-wire" throttle response remains reactive; it requires habituation in the first few gears.
Heat: High, thermal management under constant stress.
Roll-on in 6th gear: The engine struggles below 3,000 rpm; recovery is fluid only from 4,500 rpm upwards.
General performance: Overall excellent, a fast, powerful bike sufficient to be competitive in almost all conditions. Ultimately, it only suffers on long straights.
